117 released rows cross-checked

FNSprites and Fortnite.GG independently list 117 released rows: seven additional Gem variants and Ironmouse since the 109-row snapshot. Epic separately says Gem variants and Ironmouse are available, but does not publish a 117 total.

Do now: Review the seven new Gem rows and Ironmouse, then mark only Sprites you have actually extracted. Treat third-party percentages as clues, never guaranteed rates.

Keep your Season 3 collection

Epic says Season 3 Sprites will stay in the Collection and move into the Sprite Garden. Gizmos and Sprite Dust reset when the season ends; the Season 4 launch date and new roster are not announced.

Do now: Keep tracking Season 3 progress, and plan to use Gizmos and Sprite Dust before the season ends. Do not rely on an unofficial countdown or predicted roster.

Power Hours

Gem Hours — August 8 (ended)

Checking

Official past event

August 8, 2–4 PM ET and 9–11 PM ET. Both published sessions have ended.

  • All loot was Mythic during the sessions
  • All Sprite variants were significantly boosted, with Gem variants boosted further
  • Self-Revives and Mythic Goldfish were enabled during the event

This was a bounded August 8 event, not a standing Gem boost. Do not reuse its event rules or imply an ongoing drop-rate increase.

Sprite Mastery Part 4 is live

Checking

Official current patch

Live since v41.30 on July 30.

  • Quack variants share an extra 50% of their earned progress with other carried Sprites
  • Lucky Locator guarantees a Chest containing a Sprite you have not collected
  • New Holofoil Grim, Holofoil Zero Point and Cube Zero Point variants are named in the patch notes

Epic confirms the mechanics and rewards. The current 117-row count is a separately labeled FNSprites and Fortnite.GG cross-check, not an Epic total.

How to get Sprites

Source matrix, with no fixed-drop promises

Starter Choice

Water, Earth, Fire cleanup

Starter choice helps early collection but does not solve variants.

  1. Pick a starter you are missing
  2. Open early containers for XP
  3. Extract before you rotate into heavy fights

Extraction Sites

Turning a found Sprite into saved collection progress

Finding, carrying, and mastering are not the same as extraction. An Extractaganza friend bubble only applies when that limited event is actually confirmed in game.

  1. Secure the Sprite before taking another fight
  2. Use the current Extraction Crate prompt, a Portable Extractor, or the in-game extraction flow before leaving
  3. Epic says the drop-to-crate Water conversion and missing-reward bug was fixed in v41.20

Sprite Chests

General checklist and variant hunting

Epic says these now guarantee an Epic, Legendary or Mythic Sprite, or a higher-rarity variant—not one specific Sprite.

  1. Prefer Sprite Chests over standard Chests for higher-rarity cleanup
  2. Variants appear more often after v41.20, while base Rare Sprites drop less often
  3. Extract a missing variant immediately instead of extending the route

Lucky Locator

Finding any Sprite still missing from your collection

Epic guarantees a Chest containing an uncollected Sprite, but not the one exact filtered target when several are missing.

  1. Earn a Lucky Locator from Sprite Mastery Part 4
  2. Use it before a long random rare grind
  3. Extract the uncollected Sprite as soon as the route is safe

Reload: John Wick

John Wick Sprite only

Epic first-party content text places John Wick in Reload and says the Reload Portable Extractor is the only extraction method there.

  1. Queue Fortnite Reload, not standard Battle Royale
  2. Secure a Reload Portable Extractor before taking extra fights
  3. On mobile, restore the dedicated Reload button and default Quickbar if the extractor is missing

Gem Variants

The eight released Gem rows

Epic confirms 30% less fall damage for Gem Sprites, not a fixed source or guaranteed rate. The August 8 Gem Hours boost has ended.

  1. Use a Lucky Locator when several released Gem variants are still missing
  2. Carry a Portable Extractor so a rare find can be saved quickly
  3. Verify any future event boost in game before changing your route

Player Drop and Indexing

Completing a collection when rare variants are circulating

This page does not broker trades, collect Epic IDs, or endorse paid exchanges.

  1. Save a run card or print the checklist
  2. Use official subreddit rules if you choose to ask elsewhere
  3. Never exchange V-Bucks, gifts, money, or account access

FAQ

Mechanics players keep asking about

What are Fortnite Sprites?

Sprites are collectible companions in Fortnite Runners. They occupy Sprite collection slots, can be carried or extracted during a match, and grant passive effects when equipped.

What is extraction, and when does a Sprite count as owned?

Finding or carrying a Sprite is not saved collection progress. Extract it at an Extraction Site, with a Portable Extractor, or through the current in-game extraction flow before leaving. Epic says v41.20 fixed the bug where dropping a Sprite to extract could turn it into Water and fail to grant Dust or collection credit.

Does the Water Sprite heal in water again?

Yes according to Epic's v41.20 fix notes. The old temporary Earth-style chest bonus is no longer the current rule; use the in-game ability card as the final check after a future patch.

What is Sprite Mastery, and is it the same as owning a Sprite?

No. Extraction makes the Sprite part of your collection; mastery requires leveling and extracting it at max level, so a Sprite can be owned but not mastered. Sprite Mastery Part 4 is live in v41.30 and adds Quack progression rewards plus Lucky Locator. Mastery Monday still needs an in-game check because Epic's survey text gives no live clock or exact multipliers.

Where do I find and extract the John Wick Sprite?

Use Fortnite Reload. Epic first-party content text says John Wick is available in Reload and the Reload Portable Extractor is the only way to extract Sprites there. On mobile, re-add the dedicated Reload button and use the default Quickbar if a custom HUD blocks the extractor.

What is Extractaganza?

Epic first-party survey text describes Extractaganza as a limited-time Battle Royale event that places a friend bubble at Extraction Sites. That survey copy is not a live schedule and does not prove the event is active now. Unless the in-game event panel confirms it, plan a normal extraction and do not assume the bubble is present.

Why can a Sprite ability differ from this tracker?

Abilities are patch-sensitive, while Pollo, Vini Jr. and John Wick mechanics currently rely partly on secondary current-game references. Official patch notes outrank data sites and community reports; the in-game Sprite card is the final check for exact level effects.

What are Holofoil Sprites?

Holofoil is a released special variant family, not a blanket disabled-state warning. The current 117-row FNSprites and Fortnite.GG cross-check contains 11 Holofoil rows, and Epic v41.30 specifically adds Holofoil Grim/Reaper and Holofoil Zero Point. Exact live rates are not presented as an Epic guarantee.

What do Quack, Cube, and Gem mean in this list?

They are special variant themes. Epic says a Quack Sprite gives other carried Sprites an extra 50% of the progress it earns, and a Gem Sprite takes 30% less fall damage. The current 117-row FNSprites and Fortnite.GG cross-check has 4 Quack, 9 Cube and 8 Gem rows, including seven newly released Gem variants. Epic first-party content text also says Ironmouse is available, but does not provide a verified ability.

What is Sprite Dust?

Sprite Dust is the collection currency used around resummoning and Sprite management. Epic says Sprite Dust and Gizmos reset when Season 3 ends, so plan their use before the transition. Treat values as patch-sensitive and verify rare buy-back costs in game.

What happens to my Season 3 Sprites when Season 4 begins?

Epic says Season 3 Sprites remain on the Sprite Collection page and move into the Sprite Garden, where collections can still be displayed. Gizmos and Sprite Dust reset at season end. Epic has announced a new Season 4 generation, but not its launch date, total, full roster, abilities or drop rates.

Why can I not find Zero Point or Burnt Peanut?

They are rare-watch targets, and players report similar frustration with Cube variants. Use Lucky Locator, higher-quality Sprite Chests and shorter extraction loops instead of trusting a fixed-location or guaranteed-rate claim.

Are Sprite trades safe?

Trades and indexing are a community behavior, but scams are common. This tracker only stores checklist progress in your browser and creates a run-card image; it never asks for Epic IDs, money, V-Bucks, gifts, or account access.

Is this official?

No. This is an unofficial tracker built from Epic update notes, clearly labeled first-party content text, third-party machine data, Wiki mechanics and community reports. The current 117-row count is a FNSprites and Fortnite.GG cross-check, not an Epic-published total.

Safety Line

No marketplace, no account hooks

This tracker never asks for Epic IDs, payment, V-Bucks, gifts, account access, or login. Progress stays in this browser, and the run card is only an image of your current targets. Avoid paid exchanges.
